Bentonite dryer is mainly composed of rotary cylinder, induced draft equipment, dispersing equipment and lifting plate. It is a kind of equipment with strong material adaptability and is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, cement, chemical industry, mineral processing and other industries. The first step, the bentonite to be dried is sent to the feeding conveyor through the feeding device. When selecting the feeding device, the user needs to choose the suitable feeding devices according to the moisture of the material. The initial moisture of bentonite is generally about 15%.
The second step, the material continuously enters the inner dryer by the feed conveyor for drying. Feeding conveyor can be divided into full dense conveyor, semi sealed conveyor and open conveyor;


The third step, the wet materials in the dryer is firstly distributed by the crushing device to ensure that the materials is free of accumulation, adhesion, or agglomeration. The induced draft fan at the end of the dryer draws the hot air from the hot stove into the dryer cylinder, and the dryer cylinder rotates evenly; The wet material in the dryer exchanges intensely with the hot air, and the evaporated water vapor is drawn out through the induction fan and discharged to the atmosphere through the dust collector.
The drying of bentonite requires four steps; preheating, drying, cooling and dust removal. Through these four processes, materials that meet the requirements will be discharged to the finished product conveyor through the discharge outlet.
