FBC Boiler Introduction
Fluidized bed combustion boiler (FBC boiler)are widely used in industries such as building materials, chemicals, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, etc. FBC boiler can use inferior coal instead of high-quality coal to generate high-temperature flue gas for direct or indirect heating
The fluidized bed combustion boiler is to send coal (size of 0-10mm), into the air distributor in the boiler, and the high-pressure air will make the coal particles and furnace material boil through the air distributor. Due to the fact that coal particles only account for about 1% of the furnace material; the contact area with air during boiling combustion is large and the relative movement speed is fast; and the time from raw coal entering the furnace to being discharged from the furnace is long; thus, some low-quality coal with high ash content and low calorific value that are difficult to burn through in other furnace can also be stably and fully burned in FBC boiler.
FBC Boiler System
A FBC boiler consists of three parts: a furnace bed, a furnace, and a mixing chamber. The furnace bed includes an air distribution box, air distribution plate, air cap, slag hole, etc; The furnace section includes vertical section, diffusion section, suspension section, and furnace door; The mixing room is connected to the dryer and is equipped with ash discharge doors, manhole doors, thermocouples, etc.
FBC Boiler Advantages
a. capable of burning various low-quality coal and slag (with a calorific value greater than 6270KJ/KG);
b. The furnace body is evenly heated and has a long service life, combustion efficiency can reach over 95%;
c. Flexible operation, good regulation performance, fast heating, and can run at full load for two to thirty minutes after shutdown;
