Overview of Iron Concentrate Rotary Dryer
Iron ore concentrates (powder) comes from iron ore stone after crushing, grading and other processes. After iron ore concentrates is separated, the moisture content is very high. In order to facilitate transportation and increase the profit of the iron ore concentrates, the drying process is needed.
Dongding iron ore concentrates dryer is mainly consists of feeder, rotary drum dryer, discharging machine, induced draft fan, cyclone dust collector and distribution cabinet, etc. The full drying plant can dry the iron ore concentrates from the moisture of about 30% to the moisture less than 5%, and final product with the particle size between 5~20mm.
The iron ore concentrates dryer system is not only used for drying materials with high water content and powdery bonded mass, but also can dry the gypsum, kaolin, bentonite, clay, coal slime, etc. This drying system is widely used in building material, chemical, mineral processing, refractory and other industries.

Iron Concentrate Rotary Dryer Working Principle
The iron ore concentrates is fed into the dryer uniformly and continuously through the belt conveyor. The high-temperature hot air generated by the heating source enters the dryer through the connecting pipeline, and contacts with the iron ore concentrates downstream. The disaggregation mechanism, movable grate wing plate, cleaning device and crushing and dispersing device inside the dryer are used for mixing, advancing, and strengthening heat exchange with the iron ore concentrates, which can dry the wet iron ore concentrates to the final product with moisture about 5% and particle size of about 5-20mm.

1. Specially designed lifting flights to maximize heat transfer between the material and hot gas stream;
2. The iron ore concentrates adopts automatic control through compute , which can realize remote control and easy operation. According to the drying requirements of raw material, different drying temperature and drying time can be configured to realize drying automation;
3. The iron ore concentrates dryer adopts the self-aligning tugboat structure, and the tugboat and rolling ring are well matched, which greatly reduces the wear and power consumption;
4. The specially designed block wheel structure greatly reduces the horizontal thrust caused by the tilt of the equipment;
5. Multiple heating source; such as biomass pellets, electricity, fossile fuel, coal, etc.
