Pulverized Fuel Ash Dryer Introduction

China is a large coal-producing country, with coal as the basic fuel for  electricity production. In recent years, China's energy industry has developed steadily, the annual growth rate of power generation capacity is 7.3%. The rapid development of the power industry has resulted in a sharp increase in fly ash emissions, which caused great pressure to China's national economic construction and ecological environment. In the coal-fired boiler system of power plant, the emission of fly ash can be divided into dry emission and wet emission. At present, in the developed areas of cement industry, dry fly ash can be used as a mixture of cement production, which has a good market, even has been in short supply; the physical and chemical properties of wet fly ash are basically the same as that of dry fly ash, but because of its large water content(up to 45%), can not meet the requirements of cement production. Only by improving the comprehensive utilization value of fly ash, thus wet fly ash is dried with reasonable energy consumption and simple process, so that its moisture is less than 5%, which make the waste into treasure and realize the social and economic benefits.

Pulverized Fuel Ash Dryer Working Principle

Firstly, wet material is crushed by the crushing machine, transported to the screw conveyor by the belt conveyor, then go into the rotary drum, after drying, most of the dry material will be discharged through the belt conveyor, the left material will go into the cyclone dust collector, where the dust will be collected, with the function of induced draft fan, the left material will discharged through the conveyor.

1. Final moisture is less than 0.5%.
2.Cylinder self-insulation thermal efficiency up to more than 85%.
3.The heating source can be coal, oil, steam, applied to dry the block material, granular material and powder materials below 20mm.
4.The use of alloy steel plate manufacturing, wear-resistant is 4 times than ordinary steel.
5.According to user’s requirements, the finial moisture is easily controlled.
6.Use high-temperature coal-fired hot blast furnace as the heating system, make sure good heat adequacy.
